PDM-boor (motor in het boorgat)
De boorgatmotor is een soort elektrisch gereedschap in het boorgat dat kracht uit de vloeistof haalt en vervolgens de vloeistofdruk omzet in mechanische energie. Wanneer er krachtvloeistof in de hydraulische motor stroomt, kan het drukverschil tussen de inlaat en de uitlaat van de motor de rotor in de stator laten draaien, waardoor de boor de benodigde koppel en snelheid krijgt om te boren. Het schroefboorgereedschap is geschikt voor verticale, directionele en horizontale putten.
